STORY TELLING/ STORY SCRIPT
My first post is indicated to answer the descriptions of a few things that needed in order to make a story script.
GENRE
is a specific type of a story/ movie/ film with purpose to accentuate the main story about.
example: horror, sci-fi, comedy, romance, thriller, mystery, politic, fantasy, action, legend, etc.
CLICHE
is a common/ predictable/ general thing that people can think of.
example: happily ever after ending, heroes wouldn't be die, etc.
STEREOTYPE
is a belief that people had in their mind of a specific individuals or certain ways of action.
example: young man dressed like a punk and got pierce anywhere then people must think he is bad.
ANTAGONIST
is a type of character on the film/ story/ movie that is always against the main character.
example: joker in batman, jigsaw in saw, ades in hercules, etc.
PROTAGONIST
is a prime character on the film/ story/ movie that lead the story.
example: batman, spiderman, green lantern, aladdin, etc.
SUPPORTING CHARACTER
is a type of character on the film/ story/ movie that usually used to give dimension to a main character.
example: stoick the vast in how to train your dragon, alpha in up, thomson and thompson in tintin, etc.
COMIC RELIEF
an amusing scene introduced tragic elements as in a play in order to intensify the dramatic action.
example: there is a serious speech and the break his mood and let out the joke, etc.
CHARACTERIZATION
type of the characters inside the story behave/ habits.
example: spongebob characterization is cheerful, patrick characterization is stupid, etc.
CONCEPT/ CONCEPTUALIZATION
is a main idea/ theme/ storyline is about.
THEME
is a central idea/ concept that the author try to point out.
PITCH
a groove/ plot of a storyline.
LOG-LINE
is a one sentence summary of the story.
CHARACTER BIO
is a specific way to informate the character's detail.
SYNOPSIS
is a summary of the story.
TREATMENT
the way of the characters inside the story dealing with the problems.
DEVELOPMENT HELL
a period during which film is stucked in the development and takes a long time to start production.
